  • Establishment of the feedback control system structures - theoretical process analysis;

  • Design of the digital control logic;
  • Start-up and commissioning of the controoled process;

  • Developing experience for using the standard industrial hard- and soft- ware PCS7, STEP7 and WinCC(Siemens).

Laboratory overview:

  • Large scale continuous process control for level, flow and temperature (PCS7 - based)

Education goals:

  • Application of Totally Integrated Automation(Siemens);
  • Complex application and using of PCS7- hardware and STEP7 - and WinCC - software;
  • The large scale plant shown in Fig.4 is often used for demonstration(to indus-trial clients).

Laboratory overview:

  • Integration of a process component - flow - with a modern contro valve(pneu- Matic actuator) and a magnetic flow sensor.

Education goals:

  • Selektion of the automation sensors and actuators;
  • Investigation of steady - statics and dynamic response;
  • Conditioning of control systems.
