Electrical actuating drive experiment

The electrical actuating drive experiment is part of a new lab about automation devices.

The experimental set consists of an asynchronous motor with controllable brake and with frequency converter. Furthermore a programmable logic controller realises the registration of measured quantities and a personal computer serves as human-machine-interface.

The purpose of the experiments is the determination of steady-state and dynamic properties of such drives by using different techniques of speed controlling.
