Abstract:

Main objectives of the project:

  1. Detailed design of the navigation system based on the optical flow techniques with optical correlator and inertial measurements

  2. Performing the simulation campaign with an image simulator in the loop to evaluate the complete navigation chain performances under representative mission constrains

  3. Providing the optical correlator hardware development plan for the optical flow navigation experiment on a real-time test facility
